Like so many others who was drawn to Gert's charm,courage and warmth,I write this with a heavy heart.The family and the entire church family are very much in my thoughts and prayers.

Ms. Gertrude was the first person to welcome me when I moved from Baltimore to  Harbor Terrace.  She was an awesome, faithful woman who watched over me while my husband was in IRAQ and she prayed with me for his safe return- I  HONOR her.  I found a safe haven in her apartment and no matter when I showed up she always welcomed me.  She loved people and we sure loved her. 

To Florence, Ramona and her granddaughters, press on I know you will miss her and I'm praying for God to comfort you during this time.  I have fond memories of you her too and I will cherish them forever.
